    Die Haltung eines Hundes ist abzumelden, wenn:

    • der Hund gestorben ist.
    • Sie den Hund an jemand anderen abgegeben haben.
    • Sie den Hund ins Tierheim abgegeben haben.
    • Ihnen der Hund entlaufen ist und Sie davon ausgehen, dass er nicht mehr zurückkommt.

    Die Abmeldung sowie die Rückgabe der Hundesteuermarke erfolgt bei der zuständigen Stelle.

    Spezielle Hinweise für Stadt Frankenthal (Pfalz)

    Der Hund ist auch dann in Frankenthal abzumelden, wenn der Hundebesitzer / die Hundebesitzerin in eine andere Gemeinde verzieht.
