climbing centre Pfalz Rock
The climbing centre Pfalz Rock was opened on the rehabilitated site of a former slaughterhouse in 2005. Since then the climbing hall has come to the fore again and again as an intensive training centre for sport climbing in Rhineland-Palatinate and organizer of several competitions.
The climbing hall offers approx. 1000 square meters of climbing surface with some strongly overhanging competition tracks. The climbing hall Pfalz Rock with its varied climbing routes is an attractive training destination not only for the Palatinate climbing scene.
Climbing routes from the second to the 10+ level of difficulty exist in the climbing hall. In addition, there is a boulder area of 150 square meters, a climbing wall for children, an sloping overhanging track and many top rope-tours.
